NENE PARK

Introduction

Nene Park is a production/warehousing facility surrounded by beautiful British countryside.

The RP Partnership purchased the site after the Dr Martins shoes moved their production abroad.

The site has since undergone a huge refurbishment and as a result The RP  Partnership have successfully turned a empty building into a self managing business park.

Nene Park now offers its clients one of Northamptonshires premier business venues, providing three high specification warehouses and a large selection of unserviced and fully serviced offices all sitting on a vastly underdeveloped 11 acre plot (planning permissions pending).

This information pack has been designed to give you a over view of Nene Park and the benefits it could provide you and your business.

Expenditure on refurbishments by the RP Partnership totals approximately £1.5m. CBRE have valued Nene Park at £13.6 million (see development potential section for more information).

Location

Nene Park once fell under the ownership of the R.Griggs Group and was the home of Dr. Martins shoes and one of the largest shoe manufacturers in the United Kingdom.

Most of the site including the football ground underwent a huge redevelopment in 1992, this involved new offices being built along with the construction of Warehouses A and B.

Throughout the 1980’s and early 1990’s Dr.Martins shoes enjoyed a popular and profitable existence and because of this the constructed warehouses, offices and the football stadium were all built to a very high specification.

As Dr. Martins popularity declined though the late 1990’s and early 2000’s R.Griggs Group moved all production to The Peoples Republic of China, however the stamp of quality the company bought to the site remains to this day.
